oh just in case you missed the bus
I totally forgot to mention that we have announced a ton of stuff about preload and price etc etc, my good friend Cesar has all of this stuff over on his blog so I wont repeat for the sake of it but go here and the full preload list and all sorts of goodies are there...what I would like to introduce is something rather interesting, can't tell you much about it right now... but
ain't she purdy ...
first one to send me a picture of this out on the highway gets a zuneshirt from Cesar over at Zune Insider... of course he deosn't know this yet... but he's a generous fellow!

Nice bus. I've been reading all this new press info about the Zune. What do you think of the decision to impose such strict DRM restrictions and abandon PlaysForSure?

Kudos to the first classified IDIOT to buy that archaic trash! You definately belong on a bus if you do!

Richard,
I just sent a similar note to Cesar but wonder if it might be more appropriate comment for your area.
We had a suggestion today from one of our forum members, that I think is really compelling.
We've had a lot of discussion about the pre-loaded content, and the ZunePass subscription approach.
The suggestion is that Microsoft provide - in addition to the preloaded content - some preloaded Marketplace credit when you buy your first Zune player.
Not only would this be an incentive to buy Zune, it would drive buyers right away to Zune Marketplace - - i.e. as opposed to illegal download sites or to their own CD collections. So right away it pulls the buyer into the Marketplace experience.
I suggest a $15 Marketplace credit (or that equivalent in Points), or perhaps one month's free subscription.
Does this make any sense to you?
Here's the thread:

SOMEONE THAT KNOWS THE ZUNE SETUP... IMPORTANT QUESTION
If you send me a song from your zune to mine and i have a ZunePass... will it continue to work past the 3 days or do i actually have to download it again? I mean if i have to download a file again even though i have a ZunePass and i got the file from a friend it should just stay working... anyone??????

Can you please put a large warning sign on the side of the bus. Something like: Zune let M$ F**K U like iTune!

Hey Harvey , Chris, both really good thoughts/questions. Both of which I'll need to find answers for! Certainly getting people to take a look around the store straight out of the box is important...thanks for the suggestions.

Richard,
Can you tell us how many songs / albums will be available from Marketplace at time of launch?
We'll all heard "millions" but would like to know if there's a real number you can put to it.
