Video on Zune - from my eyes to your ears...

Hey there! I've been seeing a ton of crazy speculation out there about video on the Zune device as well as this article from the NY Post. Here's what I know. I have seen the device running great quality video, actually I was asked to do a check on some video that had been encoded for me for the device. Looks rather good actually! You are simply avoiding the story. The NYPost story says you will not have a video store at launch, that your talks fell apart.

Just because others are simplifying the story with poor headlines doesn't change that fact.

So we don't need to be told about some free or PD content formatted for the player. We need to hear whether or not the Post is right: do you not have a video store for your "integrated" experience with a big screen.

From your mouth to my ear nothing. Tell us the real story.

Assumming the player will support wmv 9, i'll be happy even if there is no full-blown video store. I expect that it will come with time and MS will do it right.
