Hey there!
So as the curtain is being raised over here in Redmond today (well at least a peek under the corner is happening) I figured it was time to step out of the shadows and declare “I’m Richard Winn and I’m with Zune.”
pic: "I'm with Zune!"
Phew that feels better!! Seriously though, here’s the deal. I hope to develop MadisonandPine.com as the inside track on music stuff going on around Zune, as you can probably imagine there’s tons of stuff coming and hopefully feedback, direction and ideas from this blog will play a part of the future of Zune. What I’m not going to do here is talk about technical stuff in any detail, one of my mates working here Cesar also has a blog about Zune “ZuneInsider.com” he too is mad for the music, but has a better understanding of the device and the service. Strangely as I’m disclosing this, X-Ray Spex “Identity” just started playing, weird!!! More as I know more…

soo excited I had to change clothes

Congrats dude! You and Cesar are probably two of the luckiest bastards on the planet. Just don't forget the little folks when you become the "zune god". Also be mindful that it's the unofficial zune sites like www.mszune.com (our very own site), www.zunezone.com, et. al. that's been generating the buzz and will continue to generate the buzz for ya'll. Deliver a great product or we'll write crap about it :).

To: Richard Winn
our company case-mate is a premium leather manufacturer of smartphone, MAC and iPod cases and gadgets.
We have a passion for style, design, fashion and making accessories that we like at a price we know the majority of our frineds can afford.
How about allowing case-mate to develop an case for The Zune product?
case-mates are second to none for value and we are getting rave reviews on our new handle-it; a handle for the new Apple laptops.
We will be looking out for the first Zune we can get our hands on to design the perfect leather case.
Our TM "protect your music" sums case-mate up.
looking forward to seeing your new "baby"

Hi Richard,
I've recently launched a service at www.expodition.com for Apple's iPod and I'd like to do something similar for Zune.
The Pod SnapShots that you can download from expodition contain travel guides and location specific information for people and tourists traveling to new places. The SnapShots are based on the users profile.
Do you know if Zune devices will be able to read and display text files and images?
If so - how can I join a developers group?

Could you please be a little more specific about what you will be doing in this blog.
I don't really understand, "music stuff going on around Zune". It was quite clear what you are not going to do, "What I’m not going to do here is talk about technical stuff in any detail". Some clarification might be in order.
Thanks
