Hi,

I'm Richard Winn. Originally from the UK I have lived in the US for over a decade and a half now. I’ve always been involved in music and the technology around it, from being in bands as a kid, to writing for magazines, producing radio shows, working in studios, being a vintage-synth nerd and the worlds greatest bad DJ..all sorts of stuff….

I have an awesome gig. I'm head of artist development for Zune. I get to work closely with artists, labels, managers, promoters, other music people, journalists, publishers and the crew here at Zune, Xbox and Microsoft. This is my personal blog, but as my gig is such a huge part of what I love it’s about that too.
